Lifetime, license and refunds — the fine print

Lifetime access means every current section and template plus everything added in the future, for one payment — there is no renewal. Lifetime updates means new sections and templates land in your account at no additional cost.

License: Personal and commercial use is allowed; reselling, redistributing or sharing the code is not. You can use Pro components in unlimited personal and client projects; you cannot resell them, publish them as your own kit, or build a competing template product from them. Full text: the official License Agreement.

Refunds: Magic UI Pro purchases are non-refundable: because the products are digital, every sale is final under the official License Agreement.

After purchase: log in to the Pro site with the email you used at checkout, copy your registry token, and install Pro sections with npx shadcn@latest add @magicui-pro/hero-1 — the same flow as the free library. See the registry token guide.

Pricing questions

Is Magic UI free?

Yes. The component library — 150+ animated components and effects — is open source under the MIT license, free for personal and commercial projects, and installed through the shadcn registry, the official CLI or the MCP server. Three templates (portfolio, changelog, blog) are free as well; startup, SaaS, AI agent, dev tool, mobile and Codeforge are Pro.

Is Magic UI Pro a subscription?

No. Pro is a one-time $199 payment for the Individual license. It includes lifetime access to the 50+ page sections and 9+ templates, plus lifetime updates — every section or template added later is included at no extra cost.

Is there a Magic UI Pro discount or coupon code?

When this page was last checked against the official pricing (2026-08-16) there was no public coupon code: the price is a flat $199 one-time payment and single templates are $49. If a partner code becomes available it will be published here with its real expiry date — there is no timer to beat.

What is the refund policy?

Magic UI Pro purchases are non-refundable: because the products are digital, every sale is final under the official License Agreement. That is why the free library is the right first step: build with the free components, then buy Pro when a template or the section kit would save you real time.

Do I need Pro to use the MCP server or CLI?

No. The Magic UI MCP server and the CLI work with the free library. Pro components install through the same shadcn flow using your Pro registry token after purchase.

Is there a Team license?

Magic UI also lists a Team license at $499 on its affiliate page; the checkout page currently shows only the $199 Individual license, so contact Magic UI support for team seats.

The free library, the install guide and the component overview cover everything you can do before spending anything.
